Out of every adversary he had to fight, a certain kind proved to be more challenging than anyone else. These entities were called the Monarchs. These prominent creatures were fixated on destroying the world. Even among these characters, one ended up being way too formidable, and that was the Monarch of Destruction—Antares.
Who is the strongest Monarch in Solo Leveling?
For the most part, the Solo Leveling manhwa had nine Monarchs who were hell-bent on destroying the world with their powers. Monarchs can be explained as creatures with diverse appearances ranging from outright monsters to humanoids.
Amidst these nine powerful monsters was Antares, the Monarch of Destruction. He was the main villain of the series, and he also went by the name of King of Dragons. Being the oldest, Antares was the most powerful Monarch out there. He thrived on destroying all traces of human life and feeds on chaos and fear. If there was something that could be called the epitome of evil in Solo Leveling, it was the Monarch of Destruction.
Despite having dealt with so many opponents, Antares was the most challenging opponent that Jinwoo had ever faced. He believed in the idea of conflict, and his sense of absolute truth fueled it. He perceived himself as the Monarch who governed both worlds.
Among his arsenal of abilities, the Monarch of Destruction possessed Dragon’s Fear, Breath of Destruction, Spiritual Body Manifestation, and Telepathy, along with many others. He truly lived up to his title and was a force to reckon with. However, like all other powerful villains, he succumbed to his death following his defeat against Jinwoo. But given his presence and influence on the series, Antares was undoubtedly the most fearful presence in Solo Leveling.
