The first four minutes of the new Digimon Adventure 02 movie, Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning, have been released online, and they feature a nod to the Indian fandom of Digimon.
In the clip, a signal is sent to the entire world, with the message displayed in the respective languages of each country. India is one of the countries that receives the signal, and the message is shown in Hindi, although it is somewhat broken.
The Hindi text translates to “Friends for everyone. All over the world. Digimon for everyone.”

This inclusion of Hindi is a nice touch, and it shows that the creators of Digimon are aware of the show’s popularity in India. Digimon has always been in the shadow of Pokémon in India, but it was still quite popular, airing on Cartoon Network and being watched by many people.
Digimon Adventure, a remake of the 1999 anime series of the same name, began airing on Cartoon Network in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs last year.
Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning released in Japan on October 5, 2023. The film takes place two years after the Eosmon battle, where the Digidestined Davis Motomiya, Ken Ichijouji, Yolei Inoue, Cody Hida, T.K. Takaishi, and Kari Kamiya meet Lui Ohwada, who says he is the first Digidestined. There is no word on the movie’s release in India.
