Taapsee Pannu on Maidaan’s performance at the box office, ‘Let’s Not Say Our Big Films Lack Soul’

Taapsee Pannu, known for speaking her mind, recently praised Ajay Devgn’s film Maidaan, which didn’t perform as well as expected at the box office. Despite this, she showered praise on the film and urged the audience to watch it.

However, both fans and critics have praised Maidaan, especially Ajay Devgn’s performance, calling it one of his best roles.

Taapsee Pannu shared her thoughts, saying, “Maidaan. Then let’s not say our big films lack soul and heart.” She also gave a shoutout to Abhilash Thapliyal, adding, “Cheers to adding one feather at a time to the filmography hat.

Other celebrities such as Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Javed Akhtar, Karan Johar, Janhvi Kapoor, and others have also praised the movie.

Maidaan, directed by Amit Sharma, is based on the life of Syed Abdul Rahim, who coached and managed the Indian football team from 1950 to 1963. The film was released on April 10 and received a lukewarm response.
