In spite of the huge success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol cannot contain his excitement at the overwhelming love and admiration he has been receiving from the viewers for his role as Tara Singh in Anil Sharma’s film.
Recently, during a broadcast news show, Sunny Deol was seen shedding tears of gratitude at the sight of the standing ovation from his fans. Upon being asked by the host about the tears in his eyes, Sunny once again became emotional with positive feelings, and the audience continued to show their support by applauding him.
Wiping his tears, he said, “Jis tarah se ye log khush ho rahe hai jo maine kiya hai to yakeen nahi ho raha main iske layak hu ya nahi.”
Within a month of its release, Gadar 2 has surpassed the Rs 500 crore mark at the Indian box office, joining the ranks of Baahubali 2 and Pathaan as the only three films to achieve this milestone.
A lavish celebration was organised in Mumbai by the makers of Gadar 2, which was attended by numerous renowned actors including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Varun Dhawan, Dharmendra, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, and Shilpa Shetty, among many others.
