HOW TO PLAY SHILLONG LOTTERY?
The Shillong Teer game consists of two rounds, each lasting two minutes. Skilled archers release 30 arrows in the first round and 20 arrows in the second. Participants can place bets by predicting the number of arrows that will hit the target in either or both rounds.
Tickets are available for purchase in denominations of Rs 1, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20, or Rs 50 from authorised retailers. Select a number between 0 and 99 to represent your guess for the number of arrows hitting the target in each round. If your prediction is correct for any of the rounds, you stand a chance to win the prize money.
The Shillong Teer lottery prize is determined by the amount wagered and the accuracy of the forecast. For instance, a Rs 1 bet with a successful prediction in the first round rewards Rs 80, while a correct guess in the second round can earn Rs 60 for a Rs 1 investment. If a person invests Rs 1 in both rounds and accurately guesses the outcome, they can win Rs 4,000.
Several Teer lotteries, such as the Khanapara Teer, Jowai Teer, and Ladrymbai Teer, are also held in various parts of Meghalaya. They share some similarities with Shillong Teer, but they also have several variances.
