Rachel Brosnahan Accidently Leaked David Corenswet’s Superman Cape With New Photo

Looks like Superman’s new suit got sort of a sneak peak before the actual full reveal of David Corenswet’s costume!

Rachel Brosnahan, who is playing Lois Lane in the DC Studios movie, posted a picture on social media that even made DC Studios chief James Gunn respond with emojis. Check the full picture below.

That is definitely Superman’s cape for sure in the photo, along with David Corenswet’s dog Ira. There hasn’t been confirmation that the cape is actually in the background, but it stands as a fairly reasonable guess that it is. That isn’t a curtain on the set, what else could it possibly be?

Gunn also took to Threads on Friday amid swirling rumors and speculation about the plot and characters of the upcoming Superman film, and is pushing back against misinformation. Gunn seems exasperated by the constant rumors and leaks, urging fans to only believe official information directly from him, while also questioning why audiences would want every surprise spoiled before the movie’s release.

“The primary protagonist of Superman is, shockingly, Superman. The main villain of Superman is, shockingly, Lex Luthor,” Gunn said. “I don’t know where all the stuff is coming from that it’s something other than this. There are so many stories coming out every day it’s difficult to deal with and everytime I strike something down I’m giving it attention. So, I’ll say again, don’t believe anything unless you see it HERE (& why would you want to know everything before the movie comes out anyway?) ❤️🧜‍♂️”

If there is one thing Gunn really hates is plot spoilers. Some of them floating around on the internet are rubbish, but there might be truth to others. Where there is smoke there is fire.

Superman is currently in production and will be released on July 11, 2025.
