Viewers of Puppy Love on Amazon Freevee are already curious about whether or not the Grant Gustin and Lucy Hale film will get a sequel. Puppy Love is a 2023 romantic comedy film that focuses on Nicole and Max who, after a disastrous first date, agree to co-parent their pet dogs after Nicole’s dog gets Max’s dog pregnant.

Puppy Love 2 does not have a release date at the time of writing as the makers of Puppy Love have not announced the development of a sequel.
However, the chances of Puppy Love 2 happening seem very unlikely given that initial reviews of the film have been largely negative, according to Rotten Tomatoes. Moreover, the ending of the film not only hints at the continued relationship between Max and Nicole but also concludes the story by showing drastic character changes in the two leads: Nicole realizes the negative nature of her ego and how it has hurt other people and Max outgrows his social anxiety and fear thanks to the time he spent with Nicole.
Puppy Love features Lucy Hale and Grant Gustin in the lead roles of Nicole Matthews and Max Stevenson. Other cast members include Jane Seymour as Diane Matthews, Michael Hitchcock as Dr. Hert, Al Miro as Hunter Fosterini, Corey Woods as Harper, and Nore Davis as Sid, among other cast members.
