Kim Dokja’s quest to see the apocalypse through to the end with his companions has provided much entertainment over the years. The story blends Kim Dokja’s reality with that of his best novel series, Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse.
Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint also offers an interesting conundrum: Kim Dokja isn’t the only main protagonist in the series. Although Kim Dokja is the story’s main protagonist, Yoo Jooghyuk is the protagonist of the Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse story. Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint: Yoo Joonghyuk’s real identity revealed
Yoo Joonghyuk is the real main character of Kim Dokja’s favourite web novel, Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse. At the start of the series, he is said to be on his third regression. Due to his many regressions, he becomes cold and never afraid to kill someone he deems useless.
Following the merge, Kim Dokja unexpectedly finds himself sharing a train with Yoo Joonghyuk during the first scenario. Despite Yoo Joonghuk’s initial attempt to kill him, he refrains. This encounter marks the beginning of their profound friendship.
He becomes overly reliant on his regression abilities and is always willing to restart when things get hard. However, after meeting Dokja, he becomes hesitant to use it as he doesn’t know if he will be present in his fourth regression. Despite having a deep mistrust for people, he learns to trust Kim Dokja even more than himself. He is among the strongest characters in the entire series, with a plethora of abilities at his disposal.
