MANILA, Philippines — Local oil companies announced fuel prices will once again increase as adjustments are set to be made beginning August 29 (Tuesday).
Cleanfuel and Seaoil confirmed this in separate advisories issued on Monday.
Both firms said they will raise their prices of gasoline by P0.30 per liter and diesel by P0.70 per liter.
Seaoil also announced a P0.80 increase in the price of kerosene.
For Cleanfuel, the adjustment will take effect on Tuesday at 4:01 p.m., while Seaoil’s hike will begin at 6 a.m.
Petron, on the other hand, has yet to issue an advisory regarding the scheduled price increase.
Petron Customer Interaction Center, however, told INQUIRER.net that the firm is also set to adjust its fuel prices on August 29.
These hikes mark the 8th consecutive week of fuel price spikes in the country.
