Introducing the newest addition to Ram’s lineup, the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO steps into the spotlight as the brand’s latest sporty offering, following the departure of the TRX. Positioned as a distinct model rather than a direct replacement for the TRX, the RHO boasts a blend of performance, capability, and rugged design, setting it apart within Ram’s Sport truck lineup, which includes the Rebel, Warlock, and Power Wagon models.

Powering the RHO is a high-output version of Stellantis’s Hurricane engine, coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine delivers an impressive 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque, propelling the truck from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.6 seconds and achieving a top speed of 118 mph. However, the RHO offers more than just speed, with a focus on enhanced off-road performance and handling.

Beneath its imposing exterior, the RHO features Bilstein’s Black Hawk e2 adaptive performance shocks, fine-tuned for the truck’s weight distribution. Other performance enhancements include forged aluminum control arms, retuned spring rates, active performance damping, and a two-inch increase in ride height compared to the standard 1500 lineup. Additionally, the RHO boasts a robust drivetrain, featuring a BorgWarner transfer case, Dana rear axle, and upgraded frame components for increased durability and off-road capability.

Visually, the RHO commands attention with its widened stance, composite fender flares, and aggressive design elements, such as LED headlights, steel bumpers, oversized tow hooks, and skid plates. Inside, the cabin offers a blend of comfort and technology, with luxurious leather seats, aluminum paddle shifters, and a suite of screens providing access to various vehicle functions and entertainment options.

Despite its off-road prowess, the RHO doesn’t compromise on towing and payload capabilities, boasting a towing capacity of up to 8,380 pounds and a payload capacity of 1,520 pounds. With its ability to ford 32 inches of water and 11.8 inches of ground clearance, the RHO is ready to tackle challenging terrain with confidence.

Available for order now, the Ram 1500 RHO starts at $71,990, including destination charges, and is set to join Ram’s Sport truck lineup in the third quarter of 2024. With its combination of performance, capability, and rugged design, the RHO promises to appeal to enthusiasts seeking adventure both on and off the road.
