Meet the new members of the Batman News team

One of the things we love most about comics is how they connect us together, uniting fans in celebration of the medium. We don’t always agree on everything, but we share a passion for comics and, specifically, Batman. With so many Batman comics being published, and many more on the way, we wanted to bring in some new voices to join the team here at Batman News. It is my pleasure to introduce you to five new writers, a passionate group of Batman fans whose work you are going to love.

Akash Sil

Akash struggles to understand the current canon of the DC Universe.
Akash struggles to understand why people still live in Gotham.
Akash struggles to understand why he is tired despite spending his days writing and not doing much else.
Akash struggles to understand why he is referring to himself in the 3rd person.

Jack Whyte was developed by the Soviet Union in the mid 1980s as a weapons-grade, semi-intelligent humanoid death machine, but by the time he was ready for combat deployment, the Cold War was over. He was dropped on a doorstep in suburban New Jersey and raised as a real boy.

Chip Ross

Whether it’s writing, reading or talking about comics, Chip is always eager to get involved with the caped crusader. His heart is open to more than one thing, however, and apart from comics, it’s filled with a love for music, film and video games. If you ever need someone to rant about how good the 1966 Batman movie is, he’s your guy.

Christian Gonzalez

Chris Gonzalez is a man of many traits. Well, probably not but he can dream, right? He is an aspiring writer and when he’s not writing comic book reviews; he’s an avid reader, he loves watching movies, going to concerts, and playing the occasional video game. He also has two dogs who are essentially his kids and who mean the world to him. And he loves lamp.

Everyone give a warm welcome to the new members of the team and let us know if you, too, love lamp.
