Max to launch in parts of Europe on May 21

At long last, Warner Bros. Discovery is bringing its Max streaming service to a large portion of Europe.

The first countries to receive Max will be The Nordics, Iberia, and Central and Eastern on May 21. France and Belgium will be the first new countries added to Max in over two years.

Further rollouts will take place in Poland, Netherlands, France, and Belgium soon after, but no specific date has been announced as of yet.

Max will be the home of live coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in 25 European countries. It will also include House of the Dragon season 2 on June 17, and The Penguin series this fall.

JB Perrette, CEO and President of Global Streaming & Games at Warner Bros. Discovery said of the news, “Max is the streaming home of Warner Bros. Discovery and builds on our long heritage in Europe, bringing together an incredible breadth and depth of culture-defining entertainment from our services and networks, all in one place. The unrivaled content we’ve got on Max from House of the Dragon to Olympic Games Paris 2024 and beyond means whatever your mood or the occasion, Max has something great for everyone, every time.”

As with all streaming services, there are sure to be variations in available content by region. Be sure to check your local listings for all of the currently available content.
