CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — An Ohio man who traveled to Clarksburg to sell drugs has been sentenced on multiple charges.

Tyler Sands, 23 of Akron, Ohio, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and unlawful possession of a firearm.

He was charged in September 2023 after Clarksburg Police and other law enforcement agencies searched a home on Buckhannon Avenue and found pounds of fentanyl, including colored pills in the shape of children’s vitamins, as well as a semi-automatic pistol.
