After establishing himself in the music industry, Guru Randhawa is now ready to begin his acting career with his first film, Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay. The movie trailer was unveiled on Wednesday, providing a sneak peek into the upcoming project. Randhawa will be seen alongside Saiee Manjrekar in this romantic comedy.

The trailer begins in Agra, with actor Vijay Raaz’s distinctive voice introducing the two main characters. Randhawa plays Heera, a carefree and cheerful guy, while Manjrekar plays Rani, who dreams of becoming an IAS officer. Heera’s grandfather, portrayed by Anupam Kher, urges him to marry and start a family quickly, a sentiment echoed by Rani’s family.
To escape this familial pressure, Heera and Rani decide to get married, with Heera promising to support Rani’s ambitions. However, a misunderstanding leads both families to believe that they are expecting a child, leading to confusion and a series of comical situations. The trailer also includes Randhawa’s popular track Ishare Tere.

Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay is directed by Ashok G. and written by Raj Saluja, Niket Pandey, and Vijay Pal Singh. The movie also features Atul Srivastava, Ila Arun, and Paritosh Tripathi in important roles. Produced by Amit Bhatia and Laveena Bhatia, it is scheduled to release in theatres on February 16.
