‘Jeopardy!’ Fans Cannot Stop Talking About Mayim Bialik’s Cryptic, Yet “Poignant” Instagram

Mayim Bialik doesn’t often get vulnerable on social media, but when she does, people listen.

In a video uploaded on the Jeopardy! co-host’s Instagram on August 10, fans saw Mayim reflect on her life. Although she didn’t specify the reason for posting the clip, she let folks glimpse at herself peering out at the ocean from a group of rocks on a sunny day at the beach. As she looked at the world around her, she began reciting an inspirational message.

“I’ve spent my whole life searching for comfort, for safety, for love,” she began the voiceover. “I gave myself away to find the way back, to be like you, to be near you, to be loved. I made you laugh, I made us cry, I held your hand — I held on so tight.”

She continued: “I kept trying to fix it, and then the search found me in silence. I turned inward. I found a lot I didn’t want and a lot I did … and I wanted more. It’s in laughter, in science, in touch, and I get to hold as tight as you do. There is nothing else to fix. There is just being present and grateful.”

When The Big Bang Theory star’s fans caught wind of her message, they immediately offered up their support.

“Such poignant and beautiful words. I’m saving this post for the days when I feel a little lost and don’t know where I belong. ❤️,” one person wrote on Instagram. “[Oh my god} this is amazing. Gave me a special feeling in my heart. Thank you for sharing,” another agreed. “So beautiful and necessary ❤️❤️ I needed this, today was a hard day 🥹,” a different follower added.

The Blossom alum’s not wrong in finding things to be grateful for. She’s built a successful career over the years between her TV work and her Mayim Bialik’s Breakdown podcast. She also continues documenting her relationship with boyfriend Jonathan Cohen and opening up about parenting her teenage sons Frederick and Miles (whom she shares with ex-husband Michael Stone).

While we may never know what made Mayim get emotional, we’re happy to have someone who can give us a pep talk whenever we need it.
