The new DC Universe is starting to come together, and DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn is assembling a team to get it done.
James Gunn shared a carousel of photos to social media as the New Year was dawning, and mixed in was an image of some of the people that will be helping him usher in the new DCU.
From left to right the individuals are:
- Chantal Nong Vo – EVP of Production at DC Films. She was also a producer on Wonder Woman 1984, The Suicide Squad, and The Flash.
- Jeremy Slater – Head writer and executive producer of Moon Knight, and wrote the screenplay of Fant4stic. He is rumored to be writing The Authority film.
- Christina Hodson – Writer of Bumblebee, Birds of Prey, the canceled Batgirl movie, and The Flash.
- Drew Goddard – Executive producer and showrunner of Daredevil when it was at Netflix. Also written movies such as Cloverfield, The Cabin in the Woods, and more.
- Christal Henry – She was a writer on the Watchmen TV series and will be a showrunner and writer of the Waller TV project.
- James Gunn – Co-CEO of DC Studios and the director and writer of Superman: Legacy.
- Tom King – Comic writer of Woman of Tomorrow and worked on the canceled New Gods film project.
- Galen Vaisman – Is the VP of Creative Development, and served as an executive producer on Birds of Prey, The Flash, and Blue Beetle)
- Peter Safran – Co-CEO of DC Studios and served as a producer on films such as Aquaman and Shazam! as well as their sequels.
There was no information shared as to when exactly this meeting took place. There also wasn’t an indication if it is some sort of steering committee for the DCU, or simply a get together of various members of the team across the different projects.
