Echo Trailer Reveals Marvel’s First TV-MA Show Will Debut a Day Earlier and a Glimpse of Daredevil

Alongside a new trailer showcasing the brutal TV-MA action fans can expect from Echo and a glimpse of Daredevil, Marvel has also confirmed all five episodes of its newest show will now debut a day earlier on January 9, 2024.

Marvel’s Echo was originally set to premiere on January 10, but fans will be happy to know the wait just got ever-so shorter as all episodes will now debut on both Disney+ and Hulu at 6pm PT/9pm ET on January 9. Oh, and Marvel took the time to remind fans they will need to set their Disney+ profile to TV-MA if they wish to stream Echo when it arrives.

As for the trailer, we get an extended look at much of what was first shown in Echo’s first official trailer, with a focus being on Alaqua Cox’s Maya Lopez/Echo fighting her way through a bunch of unfortunate foes who all made the bad decision to get in her way.

We also get some new footage that includes a look at Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and his fight against Maya at the 0:41-second mark, Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, and more of “Marvel’s most intense series yet.”

For those unfamiliar, Echo made her debut in Hawkeye, and this show will follow her as she must “face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots and embrace the meaning of family and community if she ever hopes to move forward.”

For more, check out the news that Echo will be the first series to launch under the new Marvel Spotlight banner and our look at how Marvel’s Echo will bring the violence well before Daredevil: Born Again hits streaming.
