After a no result and a loss, Demerara Pitbulls secured a much-awaited win over Berbice Piranhas by 14 runs. Sachin Singh starred with the bat with a 19-ball 34 runs and later an effective bowling show from the bowlers helped them to defend 93 runs. Chris Barnwell rotated his bowlers well and was able to restrict the opposition to 79 on the board. Though it might be in the early stages of the tournament and from now on every game matters for them.
Demerara Hawks will be playing two games on Saturday (As per Guyana timings), one against Berbice Caimans and the other one against Demerara Pitbulls.
