A new Ocean’s 11 movie is in the works, with Margot Robbie set to star and produce. The film will be directed by Jay Roach, who previously worked with Robbie on Bombshell. Ryan Gosling will also join the cast, reuniting with Robbie as they both starred in the 2011 film, Crazy, Stupid, Love.
According to a report by an American entertainment portal, Carrie Solomon will write the screenplay, there is little information available about the Margot Robbie-starring prequel to Ocean’s 11. It is confirmed that the movie will be an original Ocean’s 11 set in Europe during the 1960s.
The Ocean’s 11 prequel producer Josy McNamar said, “They’re [Robbie and Gosling] wonderful together. The more projects even outside of that we can have them do would be amazing.” But otherwise, McNamara couldn’t share much about the film.”
While the details of the new Ocean’s 11 movie are still unknown, fans are excited to see Margot Robbie in a leading role. Although it is unlikely that the movie will be fully woman-oriented like Ocean’s Eight, we hope to see Robbie’s character taking charge and leading a team of sarcastic criminals with good humor and style. As with previous Ocean’s movies, we can expect a fun and entertaining adventure. It remains to be seen who else will join the cast alongside Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
