Bad Bunny Just Gave a Masterclass in Neck-cessorizing

Bad Bunny killed two birds with one stone this week, hard-launching his relationships with both Kendall Jenner and Sabato de Sarno’s Gucci. The Puerto Rican rapper made it official with the supermodel in a campaign for the Italian fashion house. As one does.

Bad Bunny flexed his new Gucci ties at the Latin Billboard Awards last night in Florida. The star, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, wore a neutral look on the red carpet, opting for a basic white T-shirt tucked into a pair of white jeans with a brown Gucci monogram side panel. He matched his brown leather belt to a backwards Los Angeles Dodgers baseball cap (a deviation from his usual Yankees hat, and, potentially, a nod to his California-born sweetheart) and wore a pair of dark teal G-chain loafers.

While, in the past, the private singer has dodged the paparazzi with his unique scarf-under-hat disguise, Bad Bunny took a much different approach to a silk scarf for the awards ceremony. He knotted a flower- and butterfly-printed kerchief around his neck, which he layered over diamond necklaces so opulent they look like they belong in the late Queen Elizabeth’s personal collection. Layering a scarf over such resplendent jewels was an inspired styling choice, making the iced out accessories seem nearly as casual as his plain white tee.
