Sushmita Sen’s Aarya Sareen will be returning on November 3 after a gap of nearly two years. The series produced by Ram Madhvani Films and Endemol Shine India centres around a devoted mother and wife named Sen, who becomes involved with a criminal organisation in order to safeguard her family following her husband’s death. As she seeks vengeance against the perpetrators, she ascends the ranks to become a powerful mafia leader.
According to the streaming platform, the new season will introduce fresh obstacles, adversaries, and aspirations.
The one-minute fifty-eight-second trailer starts with Aarya getting shot, it then takes us back to four weeks earlier where she is shown as a mafia boss. She is then talking to someone and says, “Aapne mere baare mein jo suna hai woh saach hai, apne bacchon ke protection ke liye mein kuch bhi kar sakti hoon.” She then signs a deal of opium supply and transport but things do not go as planned.
The trailer also shows Sushmita’s skills in action sequences, including hand-to-hand combat and wielding a talwar, instead of her usual firearm usage.
The new season has already generated excitement among fans, with the trailer raising expectations even higher. This marks Sushmita Sen’s debut on OTT platforms during the pandemic, as well as her return to acting.
