Artist Peach Momoko made her writing debut in Marvel’s latest addition to the X-Men universe, Demon Days: X-Men #1, although followers who try the e-book know that she created the beautiful inside paintings as effectively. The concern was well-received by followers, as Demon Days: X-Men bought out its first printing of round 200,000, and now it is getting two new covers for the upcoming second printing. That’s nice information for followers of Momoko’s work, and the even higher information is that ComedianBook.com has your unique first take a look at one of many new covers within the picture beneath, which was created by artist J. Scott Campbell.
Momoko could not have been extra thrilled with the response to the sequence and the primary concern. “Many due to everybody concerned and everybody who learn it,” Momoko told ComicBook.com. I am speechless!! Thank you and more thank you!”
ComedianBook.com’s Jamie Lovett loved the problem immensely, particularly with regard to how Momoko used Japanese folklore to shake up the Marvel universe.
“Momoko’s redesigns are brilliant. Both visually and in the narrative, the folklore she’s drawing from takes primacy. It’s Japanese mythology with a Marvel universe glamour. The company’s characters are stretched and contorted to fit into the legend rather than the other way around,” Lovett wrote.
Demon Days: X-Men #1 is written and drawn by Peach Momoko, lettered by VC’s Ariana Maher, and tailored into English by Zack Davisson, and you’ll try the official description beneath.
“From STORMBREAKER PEACH MOMOKO comes a Marvel story unlike any you’ve ever seen before! A wandering swordswoman with a psychic blade arrives at village that’s being targeted by demons.
