Whatever is available with us, based on that the technical advisory committee will recommend how much (vaccine) has to be distributed. Based on their report, we will take a decision.”

With the alarming rise in COVID circumstances within the State, which is reporting 40,000 to 50,000 circumstances every day, the demand for vaccines has grown manifold.

According to the Karnataka authorities officers, the State has positioned an order of three crore vaccines and the cash has already been paid to the 2 vaccine producers.

However, solely seven lakh doses have arrived within the State.

The panicked residents have been queuing up earlier than the vaccination centres within the State for inoculation solely to be turned down.
