The upcoming edition of PhEST reflects on our future

From Sept. 9th to Nov. 1st in Monopoli, Apulia, the seventh edition of the international photography and art festival, conceived and directed by Giovanni Troilo in collaboration with curator Arianna Rinaldo, will showcase more than 20 exhibitions by some of the most highly acclaimed artists of different nationalities.

Once again, for nearly two months PhEST will transform the city’s spaces into an open-air exhibition, bringing the best of photography and art from around the world to the city to explore this year’s theme: “The Future”, through which the festival organizers aim to provide an opportunity to evoke the interconnection between different temporal planes while imagining an era dominated by Artificial Intelligence and algorithms.
