See Where the Nickelodeon Stars Are Now

This may be hard to believe, but it’s been more than 13 years since Unfabulous came to an end on December 16, 2007! Starring Emma Roberts, Jordan Calloway, Emma Degerstedt, Malese Jow and Chelsea Tavares, the show premiered on Nickelodeon in September 2004 and came to an end after 3 seasons and 41 episodes. The series told the story of a teenager named Addie Singer, who wrote various songs about her “unfabulous” life in middle school.

“It’s just so much fun. Everyone, like me and the kids and everyone, all get along and we’re all really good friends,” Emma told KidzWorld in a 2006 interview. “Also, I get to pick out a lot of my own clothes on the show which is really fun.”

While she loved starring on the series, the New York native almost never kicked off an acting career at all! “My mom didn’t want me to act,” Emma told Glamour in September 2015. “I said to her, ‘You’re not supporting my dreams!’ She decided to let me go on one audition, thinking I’d see what rejection was like. … I got the part.”

From there, the actress worked hard to make her biggest aspirations come to life — one of which included being the star of her own TV series.

“Growing up, I was obsessed with all shows Nickelodeon — Clarissa Explains It All, Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” she later shared in an interview with PorterEdit in November 2018. “I remember saying to my mom, ‘I want my own show on Nickelodeon one day,’ and she was like, ‘That’s a great dream to have.’ Then when I was 12, I auditioned for a Nickelodeon show and my childhood dream came true.”

To honor the show’s epic milestone, J-14 decided to take a little trip down memory lane and find out exactly what the cast of Unfabulous is up to now, and fans are not going to believe how different they all look! While some are still acting, others have taken a break from the spotlight to focus on their family, but either way they definitely accomplished a lot. Scroll through our gallery to bring on the nostalgia and see where the cast of Unfabulous is now.
