Just to be clear, the Redmi Note 11 series isn’t coming to India for now; we might have to wait for a few weeks before the Redmi Note 11 series teasers start in India. Also, the global Redmi Note 11 series would be a little different from its Chinese counterpart. The vanilla Redmi Note 11 has already launched as the POCO M4 Pro in the global markets and Redmi Note 11T in India. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note Pro+ were recently unveiled in India as the Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge.

Redmi Note 11 series global launch event: time, how to watch

The Redmi Note 11 series global launch event is scheduled for today, i.e., January 26th, at 5:30pm IST. You can watch the live event on Xiaomi’s official website, and Twitter handle. The launch event should also be live-streamed on YouTube, though the video is not live yet.

Redmi Note 11 series design

The global variants of the Redmi Note 11 series are going to don a design similar to that of its Chinese counterparts. A few days ago, we got our first look at the Redmi Note 11 series, bringing our imagination to an end. The renders show an identical design with flat edges and a humongous camera module. The front looks reminiscent as well, with a hole-punch cutout and a thick bottom bezel.

The Redmi Note 11 series will be coming in four different colour options. As per Ishan Agarwal, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro 5G will come in Graphite Gray, Polar White, and a shade of blue, reminiscent of the Diamond Dazzle colour of Xiaomi 11 Lite NE. Meanwhile, we also get a look at another shade of blue colour of the Redmi Note 11 series.

Redmi Note 11 4G

Xiaomi is rumoured to bring three new smartphones in the Redmi Note 11 series: the Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro, and Note 11 Pro 5G. The vanilla Redmi Note 11 is rumoured to come with FHD+ AMOLED Dot Display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Further, the Snapdragon 680 chipset is rumoured to be powering the Redmi Note 11. The chipset under the hood will be paired with 6GB/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G shares a lot except the chipset under the hood. As per Brar, the 5G variant of the Redmi Note 11 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 690 chipset paired with 4GB/6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Like the 4G variant, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G will sport a 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G will come with a triple rear camera setup led by a 108MP sensor. The other two sensors are expected to be an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it will have a 16MP sensor housed inside the punch hole cutout for selfies. It is said to boast a 5,000mAh battery with 67W charging support. However, a previous rumour suggests 120W charging support with a 67W charger included in the box. The Redmi Note 11 5G will be running MIUI 13 on top of Android 11 out-of-the-box.

Redmi Note 11 price (expected)

The vanilla Redmi Note 11 is rumoured to come at a starting price of EUR 250 ( around Rs 21,140). However, there’s no word on the pricing of Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G as of now. But we expect them to be priced aggressively since Xiaomi’s Redmi Note lineup is known for its affordability.
