The ‘Random Souths Guy’ has struck again.
For a handful of years, the sports world has got a regular barrel of laughs out of spotting a random bloke wearing a South Sydney Rabbitohs jersey in unexpected places in the world.
Ice hockey in Canada, the blockbuster Mayweather-McGregor fight in Las Vegas and a FIFA World Cup qualifier in Spain are among the most eye-catching sports events a Souths jersey has popped up.

Adelaide Oval isn’t in the same league as those three extraordinary necks of the woods, but a bloke sporting the famous red and green tonight took the challenge to another level when he snagged a crowd catch in the Sydney Smash.
Thunder batsman Alex Hales smashed a Lloyd Pope delivery for six over cow corner and the ‘Random Souths Guy’ did the rest, snaffling the catch and pumping his fists repeatedly in triumph.
He even passed the ball to a kid sitting in front of him to ensure the little tacker would always have a night to remember.
Bravo, ‘Random Souths Guy’.
