Whether she’s walking the red carpet for her own work or supporting a loved one at a Hollywood event, Nicole Kidman knows how to bring the glam to whatever event she attends.
The Being the Ricardos actress took this idea quite literally when she arrived at the 2020 SAG Awards in a shimmering look. She was there for her nominated work in Bombshell and Big Little Lies, winning Outstanding Performance by a Female in a Supporting Role for the Hulu show. To celebrate the night, Nicole wore a dark blue long-sleeved dress that featured sparkles laid throughout the top. The gown also had a number of small drapes and ruffles connecting the top to the skirt.
But the real standout detail was the high-slit on the right leg, adding a pop to an otherwise demure look for the A-lister event. Given Nicole’s affinity for mixing classic elements with the ideals of modern fashion, it’s no surprise she did so with the rest of the look.
For her shoes, Nicole embraced the couture aesthetic with a pair of studded strappy heel sandals. As for jewelry, she went with a number of diamond bracelets and bold purple earrings. The Australian star styled her blonde hair in Hollywood-inspired loose waves. What’s more, she kept her makeup natural with a simple eyeshadow and lip color.
When the Moulin Rouge! actress posted her own pictures from the night on Instagram, fans couldn’t get over how stunning she looked in the sparkling attire. Without missing a beat, they immediately complimented her about her fashion choice in the comments section.
“YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL 😭 my idol ❤😍,” one person wrote. “You look beautiful in blue,” another replied. “Our fav bombshell 😘,” a different user added.
If anyone knows how to fuse her own style into a red carpet moment, Nicole is the woman to do so. Folks are familiar with her attention to detail, as they recently loved seeing her black sparkling gown at the 2023 Oscars alongside husband Keith Urban.
