“In view of the communication issued by the federal government of Maharashtra dated April 4, the RWITC is unable to proceed with racing, and thus the rest of the Mumbai Meeting 2020-21 stands cancelled,” the race membership mentioned in a press launch.
The state authorities, on Sunday, had ordered an entire lockdown between 8pm on Friday and 7am on Monday for the whole month of April, in addition to different stringent measures like implementing part 144, in view of the rising Covid-19 circumstances within the metropolis.
