Meet Koo, the new desi Twitter alternative exclusively for India


Railways minister Piyush Goyal in a tweet introduced that he has joined a new made in India Twitter alternative referred to as Koo. The social media platform is similar to Twitter and calls itself ‘the voice of India’. Instead of the Blue Twitter fowl, Koo identifies itself with a Yellow fowl. But there may be one huge distinction between the two. While Twitter lets you create an account with simply an e mail ID, Koo requires a legitimate cellular quantity. Your cellphone quantity is verified through an OTP once you register on Koo for the first time. The app is accessible on Android, iOS and could be accessed on net browsers too.

However, the majority of the internet has been in English. Koo is an attempt to make the voice of these Indians heard,” the app makers say on their web site.
