A 24-year-old man was hospitalized after he was shot in Reseda Park.
Los Angeles police officers responded at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, to the Reseda park at 11841 Victory Blvd., between Reseda Boulevard and Vanowen Street, regarding an assault with a deadly weapon suspect, an LAPD spokeswoman said.
Officers learned the victim was alone in the park when he was approached by a man who drew a gun and shot at him twice, striking the victim once.
The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
The suspect ran out of the park, police said.
