Lenny Kravitz has long been the babe of the red carpet ball. We love his barely-there, pectoral-baring shirts and his penchant for leather pants. Tonight at the Grammys, the rocker brought his look to new heights—quite literally. Kravitz arrived at the star-studded event wearing a pair of heeled knee-high leather boots, which boasted a square-shaped toe and seamlessly meshed with his skin-tight leather pants. He added some delicious glint to the ensemble via a silver metal mesh tank top created by a designer he has worn in the past, Ukrainian-American Natalia Fedner who specializes in engineering metal knitwear.
Kravitz’s heeled boots were a stellar outfit elevator. He follows a long line of megawatt performers who have given the heel a go, including David Bowie, Prince, and, more recently, Harry Styles. (Heels are becoming more common among men off-stage as well.) As for Lenny’s take? Let’s hope for a saucy stiletto next.
