Kern County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Hemet man on suspicion of forcing a victim to drive while pointing a gun at the person, according to a news release issued Wednesday.
Deputies based in Mojave went to Silver Queen Road and Division Street on March 6 after receiving reports of a carjacking. A victim escaped the car, but another was forced to drive, according to a news release. Jarad Marzette, 26, was found in the victim’s car with the second victim, the news release added.
