ISSF World Cup: Manu Bhaker, Saurabh Chaudhary clinch gold


The sensational duo of Saurabh Chaudhary and Manu Bhaker notched up the 10m blended air pistol gold within the ISSF World Cup in New  Delhi on Monday.

The Indians beat Golnoush Sebhatollahi and Javed Foroughi of Iran 16-12, making an excellent rally after trailing 0-4 on the finish of the second sequence. This is India’s fifth gold on the ongoing occasion.

The Iranians started properly however as soon as the Indians overcame their beginning troubles, they have been unstoppable and lived as much as the large expectations by claiming the highest prize.

Also for India, Yashaswini Singh Deswal and Abhishek Verma bagged the bronze medal after getting the higher of Turkey’s Sevval Ilayda Tarhan and Ismail Keles 17-13 on the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range.

Earlier this morning, Elavenil Valarivan and Divyansh Singh Panwar had mixed to assert the 10m air rifle blended group gold.
