IPL 2021: KKR vs RCB match postponed after COVID-19 breaches bubble


Monday`s match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore has been rescheduled, a BCCI official has confirmed to mid-day.com. 

It is known that two KKR gamers have proven “COVID-related symptoms” and as precautionary measures, the BCCI felt it prudent to reschedule KKR`s match. 

There have been stories that KKR`s Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier have examined constructive for Coronavirus. However, mid-day couldn’t independently confirm it. 

The BCCI medical staff has swung into motion since stories emerged that COVID-19 has breached water-tight IPL`s bio-secure bubble. 

There has been no official communication as but from the BCCI or the KKR administration. 

It is probably going that KKR`s subsequent few matches may be postponed till it’s absolutely ascertained that each member of their contingent is secure to enterprise out.
