Gods Reign CEO Offers Star Player Sinatraa a Contract Worth Almost $1.5 Lakh to Play in India With a Condition

Rohith KR, CEO of Indian Esports organization Gods Reign has made a rather lucrative contract offer to star NA Valorant player, Jay “Sinatraa” Won.

On Twitter, Rohith offered a chance for Sinatraa to join the growing Indian esports scene, a few days after his return to the competitive scene came crashing down.

Sinatraa made his debut in competitive Valorant for the first time in two years, when he joined the talent-heavy roster of Untamable Beasts, which featured zombs, Marved, PROD and dizzy. However, despite having a strong squad, the team was eliminated from the LCQ phase of the VCT Challengers 2023 Split 1 last week.

With Valorant’s new partner program and the Challenger qualifiers setup, several talented players in the NA region are without a decent team. And Rohith KR doesn’t want to wait big to make a splash, as he offered Sinatraa a contract worth $144,000 annum to play for Gods Reign on Twitter.

Rohith further clarified that his contract won’t feature any additional monetary benefits such as medical, travel, and hospitality. However, the Gods Reign CEO is willing to play 30% of the contractual amount upfront.

Despite the hefty offer, Rushindra Sinha, CEO of India’s only Valorant partner team in Global Esports, replied to Rohith on Twitter by pointing out that Sinatraa received a better offer worth $150,000 as a 17-year-old Overwatch pro back in 2017.

Rohith responded to Sinha by claiming that he’s willing to negotiate with Sinatraa if he showcases any interest to the offer the Gods Reign CEO has laid out. At the moment, Sinatraa has yet to talk about the open contract offer, and it will be interesting to see whether the former Sentinels player is willing to make a splash in India anytime soon.
