The first image was shared on social media after the farmers’ tractor rally held in Delhi on January 26. The photos depict the violence that ensued during the rally on Republic Day, based on a BBC report that credit the image to PTI picture journalist Ravi Choudhary.

We positioned the second picture with the assistance of Google reverse picture search. Shiromani Akali Dal normal secretary and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia had tweeted a set of images on December 27, 2020, together with the viral picture of the injured Sikh man. His tweet mentioned that farmers on their option to take part within the protests at Delhi border met with an accident close to Khanna in Punjab.

The incident was also reported by News18 Punjab in a December 28, 2020 report. It said that farmers of Kirti Kisan Union, Wadala were going to participate in the demonstration when they met with a road accident. Kirti Kisan Union too had posted pictures of the accident.
