Britney Spears looked downcast just days after her shocking split from estranged husband Sam Asghari.
The “Toxic” singer was seen late Friday night in photos obtained by the Daily Mail grabbing a bite to eat at Dave’s Hot Chicken in Oxnard, Calif.
Spears, 41, had a somber look on her face as she exited the restaurant with her team, while holding a Buzzballz Chiller, an alcoholic beverage, in her hand.
The pop star seemingly went braless as she wore an off-the-shoulder white-and-pink sweater, black shorts and a pair of sandals.
Her messy blonde locks were pushed to one side of her shoulder and she opted to go without any makeup.
The outing comes mere hours after the “Gimme More” singer spoke publicly for the first time about Asghari, 29, filing for divorce and citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
“As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together … 6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked,” Spears wrote on Instagram Friday night alongside a video of herself dancing in lime green panties, a black crop top and black boots.
“I’m not here to explain why because it’s honestly nobody’s business !!! But, I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly !!!,” she added. “In some sort of telepathic way I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you !!!
“I’ve been playing it strong for way too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that !!!”
The Grammy winner’s statement came two days after Page Six confirmed that she and the former fitness model were headed for divorce after only one year of marriage.

TMZ reported at the time that Asghari and Spears allegedly got into a heated argument after he accused her of cheating on him.
The outlet later claimed that the “Family Business” actor claimed his estranged wife “hooked up with at least one of the male staff members” who worked in her home.
Sources told TMZ that Asghari learned about the alleged infidelity because he found footage of the staffer and the “Womanizer” singer “together in a compromising position.”
The outlet also reported that the model had allegedly been physically attacked by Spears during the duration of their relationship.
The mom of two allegedly punched her estranged husband earlier this year while he was sleeping, leaving him with a black eye. Page Six has been unable to independently confirm those claims.
Asghari will reportedly walk away from his marriage with very little — if anything — from Spears due to their ironclad prenup.
“Britney and Sam signed a prenup in her favor,” a source told Page Six days after the couple tied the knot in June 2022.
The estranged couple is reportedly no longer on speaking terms and will handle their divorce through their attorneys.
