Hotfoot it to the Gillian Lynne Theatre this season to catch the Chichester Festival Theatre’s sell-out show, Crazy for You, ahead of its January close. Curated by Richard Curtis (Notting Hill, Love Actually) and directed by Daniel Raggett, Christmas Actually promises an evening of ‘collective’ merriment courtesy of a celebrity-rich variety show. Live music performances, poetry readings, and comedy will be presented against a backdrop of ‘live illustrations from some of the world’s most well-known artists and illustrators’. Suitable for ages 8+, the production is in partnership with Comic Relief; a proportion of proceeds from the show will be donated to the charity.

My Favorite Things: The Rodgers & Hammerstein 80th Anniversary Concert
The film version of The Sound of Music is a festive must-watch, aired from Christmas Day through to the New Year, sandwiched between other Rodgers & Hammerstein favourites like The King & I and South Pacific. This year, ticketholders can enjoy an array of melodies from the R&H catalogue live on 12 December 2023 at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in a concert performance directed by Christopher Gattelli (who has presented memorable productions of South Pacific and The King and I on Broadway and the West End). A 40-piece orchestra joins the mesmeric Audra McDonald, Julian Ovenden, Marisha Wallace, and other surprise guests for this concert celebration marking 80 years since Oklahoma!’s premiere.
