Scheana Shay seemingly hinted that she was once in an orgy with John Mayer on Tuesday’s episode of “Vanderpump Rules.”
Shay revealed the bedroom secret in a confessional as the cast played “Never Have I Ever.” When a producer asked her when she had an orgy — something she seemingly copped to during the game — she said, “It was with an A-list celebrity.”
The “Good As Gold” singer didn’t reveal the name of the celebrity she was referring to, but she did provide an obvious clue: “Once upon a time, my body was a wonderland, I’ll say that.”
Mayer’s most recognizable song is his 2001 hit, “Your Body Is a Wonderland.” The 46-year-old singer revealed on a December 2022 episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that the song is about his high school girlfriend and he wrote it when he was 21.
This wasn’t the first time Shay, 38, has spoken about her alleged past indulgences with Mayer.
She first spoke about having relations with him during a 2020 episode of the “Flashbacks” podcast. She revealed she met Mayer and his then-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston, whom he dated between 2008 and 2009, at a party at the Grand Havana Room.
“I’m working this party. I end up getting wasted with them,” she claimed. “Every time they did a shot, they would get me a shot.”
Her efforts allegedly got her an invite to an afterparty, but Shay claimed she didn’t go because she was too intoxicated.
Still, the former SUR server said she stuck out in Mayer’s mind, so his pal got her number for him. She claimed they began seeing each other shortly after he and Aniston parted ways.
“I was living with [‘The Hills’ alum Stacie Adams] at the time,” she recalled. “This went on for about six months. … It just became, you know, kind of the three of us. We had a little throuple going on.“

The reality star admitted, though, that she got jealous near the end of their alleged relations. “And then even after him and I stopped talking, they continued talking and there were, like, a lot of things,” she coyly added.
While Mayer is still looking for his soulmate, Shay has moved on with her husband, Brock Davies, whom she married in 2021.
During Tuesday’s episode of “Vanderpump Rules,” he admitted he was once physically near an orgy while they were playing the game of “Never Have I Ever” at Ariana Madix’s house.
After he drank to the prompt, “Never have I ever had a threesome with two dudes,” Shay appeared surprised.
“I wasn’t involved!” he asserted.
“I was in a room and there was other things going on, but there was definitely more bodies.”
