Sanju Samson Appointed Kerala Captain for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20

In a significant development, Sanju Samson has been entrusted with the captaincy of the Kerala cricket team for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 tournament. Scheduled to be held from October 16 to November 6 at various venues, this tournament promises to be a thrilling contest with Samson at the helm.

Kerala’s journey in the Group B segment of the tournament will commence with a match against Himachal Pradesh in Mumbai. The group stage will see Kerala locking horns with competitive teams such as Sikkim, Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Odisha, Services, and Chandigarh.

Samson’s captaincy provides an opportunity for him to showcase his leadership skills and batting prowess, aiming to catch the eye of national selectors. With the weight of captaincy on his shoulders, Samson will be eager to lead by example.
