Karan Johar’s debut movie as a director, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol Devgn, and Rani Mukerji, remains a timeless classic that is hard to surpass. As the film completes 25 years, the makers decided to commemorate the occasion by re-releasing it on selected screens in Mumbai. The shows were sold out within minutes, and SRK, Rani, and KJo graced the screening at a theatre. During the event, Rani praised the King of Romance. The movie still receives love from cinephiles.
At the special screening of KKHH, Rani looked graceful in a white organza saree with a black border. During her interaction with fans, Rani expressed her admiration for SRK, calling him the embodiment of romance and love. In a viral video, she can be heard saying, ” Shah Rukh for me is romance itself, he’s love and I have loved Shah Rukh from the time I saw him the first time because he’s the most gracious man ever descended on planet.” She also praised Karan Johar, attributing the magic of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to his writing.

During the screening of the iconic movie, Rani and SRK reminisced about old times and discussed the film. Kajol, who played a significant role in the love story, was unable to attend due to prior commitments.

However, the Jawan actor took the opportunity to convey Kajol’s message to the fans gathered to watch the star cast. In a video clip, he shared that Kajol regretted not being able to attend and requested that her love be extended to everyone present.
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was originally released on October 16, 1998, and achieved significant commercial success. In honour of the movie’s 25th anniversary, it was re-released on certain screens in Mumbai on October 15.
