Before Ram Charan, Jr NTR also received recognition by joining the Academy’s Actors Branch. Both actors have garnered attention in Hollywood due to their roles in SS Rajamouli’s RRR.
The Academy introduced the new members of the Actors Branch with an Instagram post, featuring short clips of Ram Charan and other accomplished actors. The statement in the post expressed appreciation for the actors’ ability to bring depth and authenticity to their roles, creating memorable cinematic experiences that resonate with audiences. The post read, “We’re thrilled to welcome these accomplished performers to the Actors Branch of the Academy: Lashana Lynch, Ram Charan, Vicky Krieps, Louis Koo Tin-Lok, Keke Palmer, Chang Chen, Sakura Ando, and Robert Davi.”
