Law and Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay is safe and sound, but she definitely gave fans a scare over the weekend.
In a photo uploaded on the actress’ Instagram, she seemingly had people thinking she was in California amid the threat of Hurricane Hilary. As Mariska shared an image of darkened rain clouds and palm trees that appeared to be unaffected by the change of weather, she left folks fearful for her safety thanks to the cryptic caption she left under it.
“Calm before the storm,” she succinctly wrote on August 20, right in the middle of the heavy rainfall.
Although it’s unclear if Mariska actually ventured to the West Coast during the severe weather conditions, seeing a picture like this left people concerned over her wellbeing. As a result, they rushed to the comments so they can send support.
“Stay safe ❤️ your safety is very important to me,” one person wrote. “M, are you in California?? Please be careful with the hurricane, if you are. Be safe, hopefully you are back home, yes?? 👏😍,” another begged. “Stay safe wherever you are 🤍 @therealmariskahargitay,” a different follower replied.
