The 56 nominees from 20 nations across 14 categories have been announced for the 2023 International Emmy Awards. Indian actors Jim Sarbh, Shefali Shah, and Vir Das are among the prestigious candidates.
For his part in the OTT web series Rocket Boys, Jim Sarbh has been nominated in the Best Performance by an Actor category. Together with Martin Freeman from the UK, Jonas Karlsson from Sweden, and Gustavo Bassani from Argentina, he is nominated.
Shefali Shah’s captivating performance in the OTT web series Delhi Crime Season 2 has earned her a nomination in the Best Performance by an Actress category. She is up against Connie Nielsen of Denmark, Billie Piper of the UK, and Karla Souza of Mexico in this category.
Popular actor and comedian Vir Das is also up for an award for his OTT comedy special, Vir Das: Landing. He is nominated alongside Le Flambeau from France, El Encargado from Argentina, and Derry Girls Season 3 from the UK.

Producer Ektaa Kapoor will win the esteemed International Emmy Directorate Award at the 51st International Emmy Awards Ceremony in addition to these individual nominees. The date for this monumental occasion is November 20, in New York City.
