Celebrating his 12-year journey in the film industry, Dulquer Salmaan surprised fans by unveiling the first look of his upcoming project, titled Lucky Bhaskar. The Telugu film, directed by Venky Atluri, features Dulquer in a distinct avatar, wearing spectacles and exuding a serious expression as he walks through a messy environment. The poster hints at the presence of 100 rupee notes, sparking curiosity about a potential financial scam storyline. The film is kept under wraps, and it is being financed by Sithara Entertainment in collaboration with Fortune Four Cinemas.
Sharing the first-look poster on his social media, Dulquer expressed, “Celebrating twelve years of my magical journey in Cinema, here’s presenting the first look of our very ambitious #LuckyBaskhar. The story unfolds in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil & Hindi at the theaters near you, soon!”
Dulquer Salmaan’s recent venture was the action drama King of Kotha, where he also took on the role of a producer. The film featured a cast including Shabeer Kallarakkal, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prasanna, and Gokul Suresh. Additionally, he appeared in the OTT series Guns N Gulaabs.
Looking ahead, Dulquer is set to star in Sudha Kongara’s next film with Suriya, tentatively titled Suriya 43. The movie, also featuring Vijay Varma and Nazriya Fahadh, marks Dulquer and Nazriya’s reunion after ten years since their collaboration in the 2014 Malayalam coming-of-age romantic comedy Bangalore Days.
