If you’re a major Sex and the City fan, then you already know about Carrie Bradshaw’s iconic bridal headpiece: the big, blue feathered topper she wears to marry Big in the first film, punctuated by her striking Vivienne Westwood wedding dress. (Carrie also re-wore it in an episode of And Just Like That, when attending the Met Gala) The accessory has become one of the franchise’s most famous fashion moments—and now, you have a chance to own the headpiece, too. But spoiler alert: It’ll cost you.
The piece is a part of Sotheby’s aptly titled Fashion Icons sale, which runs from August 31st through September 14th. The taxidermied Bird of Paradise headpiece originates from the 1800s and is the exact one worn by Parker. You’ll have to save up some serious coins if you’re looking to purchase it. It’s estimated to sell for anywhere from $40,000 to $70,000. A steal, really.

The accessory isn’t the only noteworthy item up for sale. Consisting of 10 pieces, the Fashion Icons sale also includes a Murray Arbeid evening gown worn twice by Princess Diana, as well as her iconic red and white sheep sweater by Warm & Wonderful (it’s estimated to fetch up to $80,000). Also listed in the auction is Kate Winslet’s Alexander McQueen for Givenchy gown, worn to the 1998 Oscars, and a black lace Norman Norell dress worn by Michelle Obama, at a Christmas party in 2010. But we’re dreaming about that feather headpiece. It’s a piece of pop culture history.
