Acer unveiled the Acer Nitro 17 (AN17-72) gaming laptop at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) today. Intel’s 14th Gen processors power Acer’s latest gaming laptop, paired with Nvidia’s RTX 40 series GPU. Here’s a closer look at the features and specifications of the device.

The Acer Nitro 17 will be available in North America in January, starting at USD 1,249.99 (approximately Rs 1,03,887).

- Display: The Acer Nitro 17 features a 17-inch QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display with an aspect ratio of 16:9, a high refresh rate of 165Hz, a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and a 3 ms response time.
- CPU and GPU: The new laptop is powered by up to Intel Core i7 processor 14700HX paired with up to Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU to allow for powerful multimedia processing and gaming performance.
- RAM and Storage: The Nitro 17 also supports up to 32 GB of DDR5 5600 MHz memory and up to 2 TB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage.
- Windows: The laptop comes with Windows 11 pre-installed and one month of Microsoft Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
- Improved Chassis: The laptop utilises a streamlined thermal design with the integration of dual fan quad-intake and quad exhaust systems, vector heat pipes, and liquid metal thermal grease on the CPU, which claims to minimise throttle.
- Connectivity: The Nitro 17 offers a range of ports, including two Type C USB with Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and a Micro SD card reader. It also comes with Killer DoubleShot Pro Ethernet E3100G and Wi-Fi 6E compatibility.
- Other features: The laptop includes AI features such as Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 for ambient noise reduction and Acer PurifiedView for improved HD webcam output. The laptop also ships with a backlit RGB keyboard.
